Welcome/How to Get Started

Welcome to Weight Loss Kickstart! I'm so glad you've decided to make a positive change in your health and are ready to lose weight.

Here's what to expect over the next 4 weeks:

First, pick one small change every week. Each week has a theme:

  • Changing what you eat
  • Exercising in a way that's fun
  • Changing how you eat
  • Meal planning healthy food

You'll choose one of 4 tasks from each theme to work on all week. Just one simple task. Small changes add up to big success!

You'll write down your task on the tracker sheet, which you can find in the Resource section of the course, and check off each day as you complete it.

Each week builds upon itself- which means that once you complete week 1, you'll continue the task you chose in addition to choosing a new task for week 2, and so on. The idea is to create healthy habits- the more you do them, the easier they get!

Next, keep track of your weight loss and measurements. Weigh yourself at the beginning, and once per week during the next 4 weeks.

It's also helpful to take pictures because sometimes even though the scale doesn't move, your clothes may fit better and you'll want that visual evidence to motivate yourself to keep going!

And remember:

  • I won't ask you to make big changes.
  • I won't ask you to give up something you don't want to.
  • You have to be 100% willing and ready to make that change.
